As a child, Ethan was always intrigued by hair . “Any chance I had to get my hands in hair, I jumped at it! My mom would sit and watch soap operas and I would be behind her playing in her long blonde hair.” In middle school, he did the hair for his first wedding, and by high school, he ended up doing hair for proms and started teaching himself how to color and cut hair. Without a doubt, he knew he was meant to be a hairdresser. 

Receiving the best education was crucial to Ethan, so he chose to attend Paul Mitchell the school. After graduating and receiving his license he began training under our creative director Ralph Roina for two years. He continues to enrich his knowledge with annual trips to NYC where he trains at L’Oréal Professionnel’s SoHo academy. Ethan is an L’Oréal Color Expert and it shows through his formulations. He says,  “Dimension is key, it’s my favorite word with hair color, whether it’s monochromatic or high contrast, it makes the biggest difference”
