Born and raised in Charleston, SC, Gabrielle Kinney, affectionately known as “Gabby” to her loved ones, discovered her fascination with hair at a tender age when her mother introduced her to the art of French braiding. As she grew older, Gabby immersed herself in learning every braid she could find, tirelessly practicing until she achieved perfection. This early passion for braiding, styling, and updos laid the foundation for her thriving career in the hair industry.
In 2015, Gabby embarked on her professional journey by enrolling at the prestigious Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology. Graduating at the top of her class, she gained valuable experience in Redken color techniques and received training from American Crew. After obtaining her license, Gabby embarked on a career in Downtown Charleston, where she swiftly realized her dream of becoming a sought-after bridal updo stylist.
Over the past three years, Gabby has exclusively devoted herself to the wedding industry, ensuring that each bride looks and feels stunning on her special day. Beyond her expertise in styling, Gabby takes great joy in working with her clients in the salon. Known for her compassionate nature and intuitive approach, she attentively listens to her clients’ needs and desires. Her specialties encompass creating rich brunettes, natural beachy blondes, and precise haircuts for both women and men. Above all, Gabby’s utmost priority is to make every individual who sits in her chair leave feeling like the best version of themselves.
